جولة تفاوضية جديدة بالقاهرة بمشاركة وزارية من مصر والسودان وأثيوبيا

انطلقت صباح اليوم في القاهرة جولة تفاوضية جديدة على المستوى الوزاري بشأن سد النهضة بمشاركة الوفود المعنية من مصر، والسودان، وإثيوبيا.

يأتي ذلك في إطار متابعة العملية التفاوضية عقب الجولتين اللتين عقدتا في القاهرة ثم أديس أبابا عبر الشهرين الماضيين، وذلك بناء على توافق الدول الثلاث على الإسراع بالانتهاء من الاتفاق على قواعد ملء وتشغيل سد النهضة، في أعقاب لقاء قيادتي مصر وإثيوبيا في ١٣ يوليو من العام الجاري.

Today, a new round of negotiations regarding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) commenced in Cairo, Egypt with the participation of ministerial delegations from Egypt, Ethiopia, and the Sudan.

This round follows up two rounds of negotiations held in Cairo and Addis Ababa over the past two months, in accordance with the three countries’ understanding to expedite the finalization of an agreement on the rules for filling and operation of the GERD, following the meeting between the leaders of Egypt and Ethiopia on July 13th of this year.
